Biblical Counseling / Inner Healing sessions begins with focusing on Jesus, and aligning ourselves with what His Spirit has said. We do this for two reasons:

First, "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work". 2Tim 3:16-17. Since the Holy Spirit wrote the Bible, the Holy Spirit is integral to Biblical Counseling. Interestingly, the Hebrew word meaning breath is "ruach", which is also the same word we read in the name "Spirit of God" (Ruach Elohim). 

Second, one of the names for the Holy Spirit is Counselor. "But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you." John 14:26. Jesus refers to the Holy Spirit as the Counselor. There is no better way for Him to counsel us than to read what He said and apply it to our lives. 

Will we take time to discover what Jesus said about your situation? Yes. Will we inquire of the Lord for direction about your situation? Yes. We will pray and let the Lord lead us. No two people are the same and no two sessions are the same. Your journey will be unique and specific to you- just as the Lord ordained. 

Our focus will be on Jesus, His finished work and how to align ourselves with Him. One outcome we hope you receive resulting from this focus, is the ability to walk out your journey in Integrity. An Integrity defined by the alignment of what you think, believe, feel, say and do. 

Additionally, The Lord desires to transform us so we will walk in radical love. A love so radical that He literally tells us in 1Peter 3:15 "to be ready to give the reason for your hope." We desire to serve as a guide to connect you to His abiding love~ so you will be getting asked about the reason for your hope!
