Pastor Mark is a former business executive called to ministry after 25 years of success in the banking, investments, and legal fields.  Before starting Stacking Stones in 2022, Mark was a Pastor at the fourth-largest church in the U.S. for nine years leading the Biblical Counseling Ministry Team. He attributes his ministry success to listening carefully, caring genuinely, and guiding people utilizing biblical truths.  Mark has experienced freedom from spiritual and physical bondage due to abuse, trauma and addictions, and is passionate about helping others live free in God's transformational love!

History

Get to know more about what makes us different.

God began a good work within Mark many years ago. God continued His good work in 2013 as Mark began to serve as a biblical counseling pastor at the fastest-growing church in the United States. God continued His work in Mark by inviting him to leave his oversight role as Pastor of Biblical Counseling Ministry after nine years to start Stacking Stones Worldwide Ministries in 2022. Stacking Stones is a registered non-profit 501(c)3 corporation supported by donations, with offices in Wyoming and Texas.

Stacking Stones is led by Pastor Mark C. Connell and his wife Jennifer V. Connell. Together they operate the ministry and facilitate the Groups and Retreats Ministry teams. Mark leads the Operations, Prophetic, Men's, and Biblical Counseling Ministry teams. Jennifer leads the Women's Ministry. As of 2024, Stacking Stones has served clients in three countries, nine US states, 38 cities, from 22 local churches, representing four denominations and many non-denominational churches. As God continues His good work, we give all glory, honor, and praise to Jesus, the loving Savior of the world.
